Carving Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins on Halloween day. I guess we were just waiting for Grandpa to show up and do them. HEHE But we new that he wasn't going to make it this year and it was hard to Carve them with out him so next year we will have to see what we can do. :) So since grandpa was not here to take the initiative and carve pumpkins I did it. It was a messy job but some one had to do it. Sure wish grandpa was here to clean this mess. Sydney carved her OWN pumpkin she did so well with the carving knife she did not want wany ones help. She did so good.

Our friends acroos the street (moons) let us go pumpkin picking in their yard. we planted pumpkins this year but on;y got 1 big one and several small ones so Sydney, Cheyenne, and Seth carved those and daddy's and mommy's pumpkins was from our yard. The 2 on the left. Mine is the little scared face. can't really see it but it is really cute. Cheyennes is a cute HAPPY FACE she wanted a happy one and Sydney wanted a SCARY face. but she just informed us that it is not scary enough so next year she wants it to be even more scary.
